Registration:
Online registration is now available for the Assembly. Registration links for Chiefs/Proxies, First Nations participants and non-First Nations participants are available on the Fisheries Council website at www.fnfisheriescouncil.ca. If you prefer, please contact us to request a hard copy registration form.
Please note that there will be a $30 charge for meals for non-FN and non-DFO participants.
The registration deadline is Wednesday, October 20, 2010.
Acommodations:
Assembly participants are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Rooms have been reserved at 2 hotels in Prince Rupert to ensure adequate space and preferred rates.
The Coast Prince Rupert Hotel: Rates are $89-$99 +taxes; Rooms are on hold until October 25, 2010; For reservations call 250-642-6711 or toll free 1-800-716-6199 (quote group name “First Nations Fisheries 2010”); Web: www.coasthotels.com

Some travel assistance could possibly be available for one Chief or Proxy per community, but it must be aproved by the Council in advance of travel. Please contact us for more information.
Travel:
BC Ferries has overnight sailings from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert on October 27 and October 30, 2010 (with return sailings on November 6 and November 10). The cost is $100 per adult traveler, plus $220 per vehicle. Schedules are limited for these locations, so reservations are recommended. Visit www.bcferries.com for online reservations, or for more information.
Information on flights to Prince Rupert from the mainland will be distributed soon.
Displays:

The theme of the 2011 Fall Assembly was "Finding a Common Voice for Fisheries Governance and Leadership". The Assembly included Tier One discussions (First Nations only) on day one and Tier Two discussions on days two and three.
