Deana is a member of the Okanagan Nation, and has a long history of engagement in environmental and fisheries management.  She has a Master of Business Administration degree from UBC and a Bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Environmental Biology from UBC.  Her work experience includes time as the Natural Resources Coordinator and Fisheries Program Manager for the Okanagan Nation Alliance, and as Program Manager with the Fraser Basin Council. Deana will be working to develop and implement a workplan and to manage a program which involves engagement with communities around British Columbia on issues related to fisheries co-management.
