Alex joins the First Nations Fisheries Council as a permanent employee after working on a temporary basis with the Council since the summer of 2009.  She has a Master’s degree in Marine Management from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Arts and Science Degree in Fish Nutrition from the University of Guelph.  Alex has worked both on the East Coast and with the BCAFN on numerous issues relating to First Nations fisheries management projects and aquaculture.  With the Fisheries Council, Alex will be working on Policy Analysis and community engagement related to co-management.
