The First Nations Fisheries Action Plan

The British Columbia First Nations Fisheries Action Plan was published in May 2007 as a collaborative effort of the British Columbia Assembly of First Nations, the Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs, and the First Nations Summit. Approved by resolutions at all three forums, the Action Plan serves to outline the common vision and priorities of British Columbia First Nations with respect to fisheries and aquatic resource management. The Action Plan outlines many issues of concern to First Nations and recommends concrete actions which it encourages governments to move forward on collaboratively with First Nations.
